Nature is for everyone
With the opening of the accessible NatureGate TerSpegelt, we’re taking an important step towards making the Brabantse Kempen accessible to everyone. Whether you have reduced mobility, use a wheelchair or simply need a little extra support, we make it possible for you to truly experience nature again – independently, together and in your own way.
This project has been developed in collaboration with the Province of North Brabant and the Brabant Nature Gates Foundation, highlighting how valuable it is when everyone has the opportunity to get outdoors.
How can you book the trikes?
The Hand-Powered E-Trike and Push E-trike can be reserved free of charge at the bike rental centre on our park. You can easily reserve your trike via the TerSpegelt app (under Rental) or by calling our reception on +31 (0)497 512 016. The all-terrain electric trikes are ready for use here, and our team will be happy to help you get started with personal advice, instructions and practical tips. That way, everyone can enjoy the beautiful outdoors of the Brabantse Kempen safely and with confidence.

Accessible nature in the Brabantse Kempen
From De Keizer, you can step straight into the beautiful countryside of the Brabantse Kempen. Thanks to the Accessible Nature Gateway TerSpegelt, people with reduced mobility, wheelchair users and anyone who could benefit from extra support can enjoy nature independently.
Using the specially designed Mountain E-Trike and MountainTrike E-Push – all-terrain electric wheelchairs – you can explore a selection of accessible nature trails. Choose the easy Accessible Nature Walk, the Blueberry & Heathland Trail (3 km) or, from autumn onwards, the Spijkerste Heath Trail (5 km). If you would prefer to build your confidence first, you are also welcome to take a gentle ride around the flat paths of TerSpegelt before relaxing with a coffee, lunch or dinner at De Keizer.
